Music is Beautiful

From hard metal to pop, country songs to folk, music has many types and forms throughout the world. It can inspire you, make you famous, help you in getting through difficult times and can change your life in a million ways.

Victor Hugo said, “Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent.”

You can learn music (vocal or instrumental), listen to it, enjoy it and can also produce it. A lot of people would agree by the fact that music is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful things in life and also in the whole world.

Music Preserves Tradition

There is something deeply human about music, but deeply cultural about it as well, for - like languages - there are many forms. Unlike language, however, music does not require "understanding." People may be moved by music of peoples whose language means nothing to them, and the same musical performance may mean different things to different people.

Although music is popularly associated with entertainment and leisure, it is rarely "just" entertainment. It can move people. And because it can move them deeply, members of communities around the world use it to create cultural identity and unity

The best way to support your favorite artist is financially. Recorded music provides a listening experience that is unique and rewarding in its own right, and listeners should strive to preserve that. Fans should respect the wishes of the artist. If a musician asks that you pay for an album, you should respect the time and effort that went into its creation, and pay for it.

Perhaps people don’t really care about how artists make their living. But there are positive repercussions for the listener. First, it will make the listening experience more rewarding. You will have a recording whose quality matches what the artist intended. You will listen closer. Just like you would savour the taste of an expensive bottle of wine, you’ll savour the sounds of that album you bought.

How much does music mean to you? How does it positively affect your life? Hopefully many of you will come to the conclusion that while you may not have a fat bank account, ten dollars for an album you will play 100 times is a very good deal.
